Amber Powell is a Chicago native whose love for the arts began in her grandmother’s living room. It was there that she realized dance and performing is a part of her life’s destiny. After high school, she attended Columbia College Chicago pursuing a degree in dance. While enrolled, her interest in media began to bloom so she became a double major in both dance and broadcast journalism. After graduating, Amber continued her drive towards excellence and went on to earn her Masters in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her educational experience added to her determination to find a way to combine the love of dance and production. Her vision to inspire the world through various creative platforms was her impetus for establishing I'm Free it's All About Me NFP.
